MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The worldwide success of his career has seen him break into mainstream Latin music. In 2016, his hit Una Lady Como Tu was the winner of the Colombian Kids Choice Award for the most popular Song in the year 2017. In 2017, he released ADN The First Long-Player in the name of La Industria Inc. in Medellin. The album peaked at the rank of eight places on the Top Latin Albums charts. The following year, the singer teamed with Ozuna to make Vaina Loca, it was a Top Five hit. In 2020, he dropped the chart-topping sophomore album Dopamina and also collaborated on Mala Influencia with Noriel. Later in 2021 he was featured as a duo with TINI on her streaming smash single Maldita Foto. 2000 saw him perform the hit single La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo was born into music-loving family. His father and brother are also musicians. In interviews he's talked about participating in music as compulsory. He learned how to play the saxophone, guitar the ukulele, and keyboard when he was when he was a child. Although his first career choice was becoming a veterinarian his brother Julian convinced to him take singing lessons with a Cuban.
